Ingmar Lazar — Piano Recital
Born in 1993, French pianist Ingmar Lazar has been praised by Classica Magazine for his commanding stage presence, emotional intensity, and technical brilliance. He has performed in some of the world's most prestigious venues, including the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Salzburg Mozarteum, Prague Rudolfinum, and the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, and has been invited to major festivals such as La Roque d'Anthéron and Grafenegg.
Lazar has collaborated with conductors such as Vladimir Spivakov and Jean-Jacques Kantorow, and with orchestras including the Russian National Philharmonic and Moscow Virtuosi. His discography, featuring works by Schubert, Beethoven, and César Franck, has received high acclaim. Making his debut at the age of six at Salle Gaveau, Lazar is the recipient of the Verbier Festival Tabor Foundation Piano Award and the Safran Foundation Award, and holds the title of Steinway Artist. He studied in Hannover, Salzburg, and Fiesole, working with masters such as Dmitri Bashkirov and Elisso Virsaladze.
Active in artistic direction, Lazar is the founder of the Festival du Bruit qui Pense and the artistic director of the "Fugues Pianistiques" Festival in Chelles.
