Can Saraç, piano

The Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra is a highly respected ensemble, recognized worldwide for its powerful interpretations and diverse programming. Founded at the initiative of composer Nazib Zhiganov, the orchestra is today one of Russia's leading symphony orchestras. Since 2010, Alexander Sladkovsky has served as Artistic Director and Principal Conductor, ushering in a new and dynamic era. It is the first Russian regional orchestra to be recorded by Medici.tv and Mezzo, and holds the distinction of being the only regional orchestra in Russia with its own annual subscription series at the Moscow State Philharmonic Society.

Tonight's concert will be conducted by Alexander Sladkovsky, one of Russia's foremost conductors. Holder of the title People's Artist of Russia, Sladkovsky graduated from the Moscow Conservatory with a gold medal and has led the Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra since 2010, elevating it to the top tier of Russian orchestras.

The soloist for the concert is the young Turkish pianist Can Saraç, recipient of the 2025 International Classical Music Awards – Discovery Award. Born in Istanbul in 2007, Saraç has already won awards in national and international competitions and performed with major orchestras, establishing himself as a remarkable young talent.
