Born in 1977 in Havana, Cuba, the dancer received his training at the Escuela Nacional de Ballet de Cuba. He began his professional career in 1996 with Le Jeune Ballet de France and went on to join the Bavarian State Ballet as a corps dancer (1997–1999) and later as a soloist (1999–2003). He performed as a soloist with the Monte Carlo Ballet (2003–2004), principal dancer at Zurich Ballet (2004–2006), and Hamburg Ballet (2006–2009), later becoming a guest principal there (2009–2018) and serving as dance coach and choreographer for Italy’s Amici TV Talent Show (Canale 5). Since 2014, he has been Ballet Master, choreographer, and dancer at Ballet Kiel.
His repertoire includes major solo roles such as Don Quixote (Basilio), Swan Lake (Prince Siegfried, Benno), Raymonda (Abderakhman), Romeo and Juliet (Romeo), Eugene Onegin (Onegin), Cinderella (Prince), Coppélia (Franz), Manon (Manon Lescaut’s Sister), Othello (Othello), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck, Demetrius), The Lady of the Camellias (Gaston), Beauty and the Beast (Beast), and The Picture of Dorian Gray (Dorian Gray, Lord Henry Wotton), highlighting his technical mastery and expressive stage presence.
