Cemi'i Can Deliorman began his musical education as a violin student and was admitted at age 17 to the conducting preparatory program at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna—the department's youngest student. He graduated with distinction from Martin Sieghart's class and completed his master's degree on a full scholarship at Westminster College of the Arts in Princeton, performing at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. He served as Chief Conductor of the Turkish State Polyphonic Choir (2010–2017), leading it to international festivals. Since the 2020–2021 season, he has served as Music Director of the Presidential Symphony Orchestra.
