Görkem Ezgi Yıldırım graduated from the Opera Department of Hacettepe University State Conservatory. In 2005, she actively participated in the Feldenkrais Method under the guidance of Professor Sebastian Vittuci of the Vienna Music Academy. In 2005 and 2006, she attended the master classes of Prof. H. Dorsch, Head of the Opera Department at Robert Schumann State Conservatory, Düsseldorf University.
Following her graduation, she performed as a soloist in productions at Schauspielhaus – Vienna, Austria; Grand Théâtre – Luxembourg; Het Toneelhuis – Antwerp, Belgium; and Mannheim National Theatre Schauspielhaus with the production SARAY in Germany.
In 2006, she began working at the Ankara State Opera and Ballet. She performed the role of Blonde in W.A. Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail in Ekaterinburg, Russia; Daegu, South Korea; Saaremaa, Estonia; Beijing, China; and Italy. She sang the soprano solo of F. Tüzün’s Çeşmebaşı Ballet Suite in Tokyo, Japan with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra.
She has participated in the D-Marin Turgutreis International Classical Music Festival, the Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival, and the International Ankara Music Festival. In 2009, she took part in the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition and the International Opernwerkstatt Project in Switzerland.
In 2017, she won the Grand Prix at the International Slovtsov Singing Competition held in Russia. She is currently serving as a soloist at the Ankara State Opera and Ballet.
