Founded in 1947, the Georgian State Choir is a leading ensemble dedicated to developing and promoting Georgia's rich choral traditions. Since 2011, it has been led by Chief Choirmaster Archil Usveridze. Its extensive repertoire includes masterpieces by Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, and Brahms, as well as Georgian professional choral music. In 2023, the choir joined the Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra and soloists to perform Vakhtang Kakhidze's Requiem at the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp to tremendous acclaim.
