Distinguished Turkish conductor and composer Murat Cem Orhan served as Artistic Director of the İBB Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall and Principal Conductor of the CRR Symphony Orchestra (2022–2024), achieving the highest audience engagement in over two decades. He holds degrees from Dokuz Eylül, Istanbul, Brooklyn College, and Mimar Sinan universities, and completed his conducting master's under Maestro Antonio Pirolli. A two-time winner of the N.F. Eczacıbaşı Composition Competition (2010, 2012), he composed the oratorio Kuva-yi Milliye'nin İnsan Manzaraları in 2018. Internationally, he has led the Sofia Philharmonic, Heidelberg Symphony, and the Olten Philharmonic at Concertgebouw (2024), among others.
