Hailing from South America, five classically trained musicians share a common passion for the rhythms and melodies of their homelands and a desire to bring these sounds to audiences around the world – this is Los Pitutos. Based in Berlin, the ensemble consists of Chilean and Colombian musicians and was founded in Germany in 2015. The group blends classical Latin rhythms such as bolero, cumbia, joropo, and waltz with original arrangements and compositions, creating a warm and danceable musical style. By integrating beloved Latin American styles with their original works, inspired by elements of 70s music, pop, and funk, they have created a distinctive sound of their own.
Los Pitutos is a true labor of love shaped by the shared passion of the five musicians. Their romantic and rhythmic boleros and cumbias, combined with captivating stage energy, enchant audiences worldwide — whether in prestigious concert halls, festivals, or club venues.
